Polymer microspheres refer to polymer particles with spherical shapes, and their particle sizes range from tens of microns to hundreds of microns. Polymer microspheres are a new type of water-blocking replacement material.

The material is composed of water-absorbing resin and polymer. The water-absorbing resin has the characteristics of a large expansion rate, good toughness, and good expansion delay performance: it can strongly seal the connection with the cavity in the formation, reducing the output power of the water pump to zero.
